A Window Into the Soul
Begins: January 17th 7 pm Ends: January 19th at 4pm
Some of the best tools we have for describing our condition are psychological - the only healing from those conditions is God's capacity, power, and desire to transform our lives. The Enneagram combines these, bringing us to a place where we can begin to notice our "old self" we protect compulsively and largely subconsciously. Noticing is a precious step on the Godward path to being redeemed and transformed, a path that requires courage, a path that affords freedom. This retreat is intended for those with no previous enneagram understanding.
Cost: $295 shared, $385 single (limited single rooms available)
Registration Deadline: January 8th
Facilitators: Cherie (Tetz) Christensen and Doug Schroeder
Cherie is a spiritual director who facilitates contemplative courses and offers retreats both locally and abroad – (Mexico). She is also a partner of a dispersed contemplative community called SoulStream. Cherie completed the Enneagram Spectrum Training and Certification program in 2018. Having lived life largely out of her 7ish-ness, Cherie will attest to the profound transformative power of this tool called the Enneagram. This lens has the power of awakening us to the beauty and brokenness of our own ways of being in the world. Cherie has been married to Bill for 4 years and is the thankful mom of 3 and grandma to six more incredible humans.
Doug is a spiritual director and retreat facilitator in Calgary and is executive director of SoulStream, a dispersed contemplative community. He has previously taught Bible and theology, moved into sales and sales management, and served as a pastor of a Calgary congregation. Doug completed the Enneagram Spectrum Training and Certification program in 2013 and is convinced that the Enneagram can be a powerful tool to awaken us to God and to our true selves. Doug has been married to Dorial for 47 years, has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
